A mid-sized Buffalo law firm is looking to add an experienced Litigation Paralegal to their staff to aid in the administration and litigation of complex cases. This position will require hands on involvement from the initial client intake all the way through trial. Duties Include: Performing factual and legal research Drafting correspondence, litigation notices, routine pleadings, settlement agreements, etc. Gathering medical reports, client interviews, reviewing witness reports, and determining the extent of damage covered by insurance policies Trial preparation State and federal E-filing Handling ESI: managing and coordinating electronic document collection, drafting and issuing subpoenas, answering discovery requests, preparing briefs, motions and other documents related to discovery efforts Significant communication with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and others Qualified candidates will be motivated individuals with a positive outlook, a strong work ethic and great interpersonal skills. Job Requirements:
3-5+ years of Paralegal experience Litigation experience required.
