A prestigious New York law firm is looking to hire a Foreclosure Litigation Administrator for their Rochester office. The Administrator will assist a paralegal and attorneys in foreclosure litigation matters. Duties will include: - Ordering title and tax searches from title companies
- Preparing exhibits for pleadings (complaints, motions, opposition papers)
- Filing documents with supreme court in compliance with specific court/judge requirements
- Conducting due diligence
- Drafting correspondence
- General office duties such as paying invoices, faxing, filing, etc.
The ideal candidate is a team player, capable of multitasking, and maintains confidentiality with sensitive matters. |
- Associate degree or equivalent administrative experience
- Experience in litigation matters; foreclosure experience a plus
- Law firm experience preferred with knowledge of operations (opening/closing files, work flow, court processes)
- Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent proofreading skills and high attention to detail
